Bongo’s Cuban Café (601 Biscayne Blvd., Miami) — located right around the corner from the American Airlines Arena (and just north of the downtown area), Bongo’s Cuban Café is a popular spot on any night, but gets especially busy after a home game for the Miami Heat basketball team. By day, the café serves Cuban food in the restaurant, and when night falls it turn into a salsa dance party. This should be expected, as Bongo’s is owned by international recording artist Gloria Estefan, and the dance floor inside can turn into a scene from one of her music videos with the snap of a finger.
