Harry’s Pizzeria

Harry’s Pizzeria
Harry’s Pizzeria (3918 North Miami Avenue, b/w NE 39th & 40th Streets, Design District, Miami) – this pizza restaurant is not to be confused with “Harry’s Italian” in New York (another popular pizza restaurant). Miami area chef Michael Schwartz launched this restaurant to help raise the standard of pizzas in Miami (which traditionally had difficulty commanding decently-made pizza). Schwartz accomplishes this by making his dough in-house, and topping his pizzas with everything from braised fennel to slow-roasted pork. Meatballs, polenta fries, and biscotti are among the other items served here.
Also served there are bottled craft beer and rotating tap brews, such as Michael’s Genuine Home Brew American Ale (Gadsden, AL,) Tequesta (FL) Brewery’s Der Chancellor Kolsch, and Cigar City Brewing’s Jai Alai IPA (Tampa, FL,), along with a selection of old world wines by the glass, carafe, and bottle.
