Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens (3251 South Miami Avenue, Miami) — Vizcaya is a National Historic Landmark; it’s also a museum owned by Miami-Dade County and accredited by the American Association of Museums. Vizcaya is open to the public 364 days each year.
Built by agricultural industrialist James Deering in 1916, Vizcaya Museum & Gardens features a main house, ten acres of formal gardens, a hardwood hammock, and soon-to-be-restored historic village.
